UCSB Jazz Combos Perform at the St. Michael's University Church, Isla Vista

February 17 and 18, 7:30 PM

Our combos perform over the course of two nights at a welcoming venue in Isla Vista as part of our busy Winter Quarter. Come hear our talented students perform America's great art form - JAZZ! Admission is free, but donations are welcomed!

"Let's Dance" - The UCSB Jazz Ensemble featuring winners of the 2nd Bienniel Vocal Jazz Solo Competition

7:30 PM, Wednesday, February 25, 2026, Lotte Lehmann Concert Hall, UC Santa Barbara

The UCSB Jazz Ensemble presents music for different sized jazz ensembles inspired by dance, including Bob Mintzer’s Latin Dance, Maria Schneider’s Choro Dancado, and Wynton Marsalis’s That Dance We Do (from The Democracy! Suite) as well as many others. This concert will feature the vocalists Julianne Varona, Brooke Aron, and Marissa Abaya performing music originally written for Ella Fitzgerald and Anita O’Day, as well as other vocal performances by Maile Quinn, Kyla Becker, and Naomi Carl.
